    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Rommel will bring you through endless adventures through the infamous works of the Divine Comedy, Beowulf, Paradise Lost, and The Tempest. Through her wisdom and great knowledge of the authors and their view she will give you an opportunity to expand your skills as a person, student, and adult.

    Course highlights:

I learned to analyze, think, and write well. Dr. Rommel gave me concrete and honest feedback, and let me think for myself, and never made me feel dumb.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, respect your teacher, and want to learn. The most important thing is to be open to new ideas, and know that your instructor has dedicated their life to this class, and most importantly giving you an education. Love every moment, because it will not come again.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course as it covers a wide variety of valuable literary material. Dr. Parker is an excellent instructor, particularly in regards to in-depth discussions about the literature. He does not focus merely on themes and symbols, but rather focuses on the whole of the literary work and its importance and significance in the subject.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included covering a vast amount of literary material and knowing it very well after the series of lectures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to keep up with the readings for the class and to engage in the material. Follow his study guides for exams and his writing tips for papers. When writing papers, focus on your introduction and make sure you have substantial ideas--if you have just one outstanding idea he will give you an A.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great class! I loved the teacher and the books! Would recommend highly.

    Course highlights:

I would say the highlight was when we went outside, and we studied in the famous grounds. Wonderful memory!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would take it as soon as possible. It covers the grounds for what you will learn later on at AMU.
