Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Mr. Yaeger is a great teacher and knows how to explain things in many different ways to get through to everyone. He puts in much extra time for students like me who often come in early for extra help and always has a smile on his face.

    Course highlights:

I've learned derivatives, anti-derivatives, definite and indefinite integrals, differentials, and more. This class has not only taught me much about math and the uses of it, but also how to find a solution for new, unseen problems.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework and study, study, study. There are a lot of things to memorize in this class and it is very easy to start mixing some of the formulas and definitions with each other. Study them often. Also, when you don't understand something or need help, ask for help. This is not a class to just fly through with ease.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a good intro to calculus and higher level math. The course is challenging but easy to grasp with a good teacher.

    Course highlights:

Before this course I did not know anything about calc or its applications. The course taught me to thin in new ways and was a good reminder of math I learned in previous years but had forgotten.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study and don't be afraid to get help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Yaegar takes a special interest in the performance of his students. He tackles an otherwise difficult task, the introduction to the broad field of calculus, and challenges his students to think about the world and math differently.

    Course highlights:

Through helpful chants, stories, or visuals, concepts are simplified to be easier to understand. I learned important Calculus principals that I applied in later calc classes, such as the rules of derivatives and anti-derivatives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study and complete the homework. It is only a small percentage of your grade to turn in homework, and you might be tempted to slack due to the fact it is only completion, but for those who did the homework, you see similar problems on the quizzes and tests.
