Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher made it very interesting to learn what can be a dry subject. I was prepared for the test.

    Course highlights:

I learned all of US History, from the Native American tribes to Barack Obama.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every night and prepare for the tests. Take practice AP tests seriously as they will serve as gauges of readiness.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. McDonald is a fantastic teacher, and will make sure to teach you the material. He will answer any questions you have, and will not stop explaining until you are 100% sure that you understand. The course is very difficult on its own, but Mr. McDonald makes it much easier. I would highly recommend taking this course if you have the pleasure of being taught by Scott McDonald.

    Course highlights:

While I learned plenty about the history of the United States, I also learned that mastery of a subject takes work. If you want to excel in this subject, you must read every night and do the work you are given. In this course, there is no such thing as busy work. Every piece of paper you are given has a purpose, and will teach you something about the subject if you do it correctly.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan on taking this course, you must also plan on putting the work in. Understand that when you are given an assignment, that assignment will most certainly assist your understanding of the material. If you aren't a hard worker, you should not plan on taking this course. If you plan on putting in the work, then I highly recommend taking this course.
