Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course prepares students for actual college courses with similar context and assignments. For instance, students had to prepare a speech to deliver to the class, an introduction to Communications and public speaking.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to form a well written argument essay, critical analysis paper, and persuasive speech.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait to the last minute to develop an essay and practice the multiple choice section of the test unless because we are given less time to focus on how to read and analyze writing pieces.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I strongly recommend this course for people who intended to go to college. This class is structured like a college class and also allows for the opportunity to earn college credit. This class is the equivalent of English 101 in college which is a required class no matter what your major is.

    Course highlights:

I really got the feel for what a college class would be like taking this course. We also got to have really interesting discussions about the novels we read. Extremely interesting subject matter.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. Set a schedule and stick to it. If you get behind it is extremely difficult to catch up. And there is absolutely no way to pretend that you aren't behind. Your teacher will figure out very quickly during discussions that you have no idea what you are talking about

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because of the high level of dedication Ms. Drager gives

    Course highlights:

Aside from covering a large range of literature, this course allowed students to explore and experiment with a range of writing styles and thinking patterns. There were also many projects allowing students to express their intellectual discoveries creatively.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to Ms. Drager. She knows what she is talking about.
