    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While I think AP classes can be very beneficial, AP Biology is a lot of information packed into a class. Expecting students to retain all of it enough to get a good score on the future AP test is actually very hard.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I learned a deeper insight on what life on Earth is made of and how it functions. It allows you to understand the history of different organisms and how they evolved to present day species.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course I would make sure you are very prepared to work hard. Studying is a major key to passing and is a necessity.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Course highlights:

They've made the AP course in my opinion, easier.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure that you were good at normal biology.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives you a strong sense of the internal workings of a cell and how it relates to the function of larger organisms like humans. Seeing everything on a molecular level really changed how I thought about animals and their complexity.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were getting to study genetics and how we inherit certain traits based on our genes. I learned about the different internal genotypes that code for the external phenotypes that we see on ourselves, such as ear lobe attachment, eye color, and hair color.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and clarify any confusing specifics with your teacher.
