    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it lets students learn in a more fast-paced environment because the class is AP. The content is very interesting, and if you keep up with the work, it is fun!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me were passing exams and quizzes, getting to know my classmates better, and learning about the country I live in. A huge highlight of the class for me was passing the AP exam!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for lots of reading, quizzes, and essays, but more importantly, be ready to learn about the history of the U.S. Many of the issues the class teaches about are still relevant today, and can apply to more recent events and problems. It is never a bad thing to be too informed about the country you live in.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a hard course that will teach students the importance of studying and time-management in a very interesting class.

    Course highlights:

I learned to not procrastinate as much, and how to write on-demand essays better. Throughout the year, my test scores improved and I passed the AP test.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate your reading, study before the tests, and look for potential essay topics in the chapters before taking the AP test. I would also recommend taking a look at the AP website to see what the essays were the previous year, because the AP board probably wouldn't do the same topic twice.
