    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is very knowledgable and loves to teach the class. He loves to give lectures, so reading the book isn't really required.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Kecz Majored in the Civil War (He even published a book on it) so if there is a time to ask him about deeper information, that's it. I really like history and study it independently, so there really wasn't that much I learned.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Find someone to study and work with. It's really the only way you'll survive the course because Mr. Kecz works fast and doesn't like to backtrack.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I probably wouldn't recommend this course only if it was taught by Mr. Keczkemethy. He was very disorganized and that prevented me from getting the most out of the class. However, if it were taught by another teacher, I would highly recommend this course, as it provides a great insight into the history of the country and how it shaped modern life today.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were being able to learn about intriguing subjects I have always been curious about. I had never really understood how the major wars broke out, and learning the reasons why helped me not only understand the foreign conflicts in the past, but contribute to my understanding of modern ones as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students panning on pursuing this course should be prepared to set aside plenty of time to read, and get a thorough understanding of what they have read. They should have some interest in history, as many of my classmates had no interest, and that influenced the amount of success they had int he class. They should try to see how the conflicts they learn about shaped the modern society, because it is very interesting to see that history does in fact repeat itself!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Personally, I wasn't fond of how the course was run. The class was very unorganized and hectic. Assignment requirements and due dates were never consistent.

    Course highlights:

The development of American colonies all the way up to the 20 century.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for a rigorous course. If you have OCD, this class will surely cause your anxiety levels to peak.
