    Course Overview:

    This is one of those rare classes that is not only hands-on, but also practical to everyone no matter what kind of circumstances they are under.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of personal finance are learning about how to invest properly, how to eliminate debt and live without acquiring any debt, and learning how to write a check/balance a checkbook.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    One piece of advice I would give to students considering this course is that they should take the lessons to heart. The information that is learned in this course will positively impact your finances in your future.

    It teaches you so much and totally changes your perspective on money.

    The highlights of this course were learning about investments and college saving. You learn the basics of money and the dangers of debt.

    It high lights the skills you will need after high school. It goes over the parts of an adult life that people forget to tell a student going out into the world on their own.

    I learned that I need to have a budget and how to manage my money in an effective way.
