Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

BIO 113 contains all of the basic biology knowledge you will need to further your science education. Weather you are entering the field of biology or not, learning about the micro-molecules throughout your body helps you to develop a whole new understanding of how your body and cells work.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the models that we made describing different concepts of biology. They help better your understanding of the physical actions your cells make. I have learned so much about different organisms within our bodies and the functions they partake in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study the content before all test or quizzes. You make think you understand it all but there are so many little detail to remember it is almost impossible to remember everything without studying. I don't think this class would be too difficult for anyone and I would strongly recommend it!

    Course Overview:

Mr. Behrens is an awesome teacher! While the content of the course may be somewhat boring to some, Mr. B takes extra steps to make sure that students and engaged and learning! Highly recommended!

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was the unit on genetics. The physical makeup of DNA was fascinating to me and I actually took it further to learn more on my own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Mr. Behrens can come off as pretty mean, but just stay positive and take as much as you can from the course. Once you get more into the course, you'll realize that you are actually learning as long as you do the work.
