    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For anyone with aspirations to attend college, I would highly recommend this course because it prepares you to write essays which are a major part of any freshman English course at universities.

    Course highlights:

I learned that attention to correct grammar and punctuation can be the difference in an A or a D. Many freshman composition professors have automatic D rules in that if you have a comma splice or incorrect grammatical mistakes, they will stop grading your essay and give you a D for a grade. Paying attention in this preparatory course will make me more successful in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention in class, sit near the front and get to know the teacher. When reading assignments are given, do not delay in doing these. If you do not understand a rule, do not be embarrassed to ask questions. The only stupid question is the one not asked.
