    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

To be totally honest, when I signed up for this class, I was not even actually interested. I wanted to take it because my older brother took it and talked very highly of it. It was not until this year, after I matured a little, that I grew to appreciate it. I now absolutely love learning new and even challenging things. I appreciate the challenge that this class provided me with. Also, I think our nation's history is very important to learn about.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course, for me, were when we got to the 1900s. The main reason for this is because it was easier to remember when it came time to test on it because I had actually heard of these things before. I also felt more connected to it because the events took place in the century that I was born in.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students thinking about taking this course to be appreciative of the subject. It may seem boring and miserable, but I can guarantee that you will appreciate it later on. If we do not learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it. Plus, taking AP US History instead of regular US History provides a little more of a challenge. Also, the class is on an accelerated place and students are forced to go deeper into the subject instead of barely scratching the surface.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course let me learn as much about my country as I possibly could have in a school year. My classes were interesting and I always loved going to class since my teacher was wonderful. It was a good bit of work and kept me busy so I had no time to be lazy last year which helped me keep my grades up.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of American History is World War II. My teacher also happened to love WWII so that helped me as a student learn the most I could,

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be lazy! Read the text book every night! (It's a pain but it's worth it). Stay organized and do your homework as soon as you get it. When doing essays, start as soon as you get it. Be on top of your game!!!
