Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP English IV takes you on a journey through different novels and poems that you learned to decipher with ease by the end of the school year. The course strengthens and improves writing skills to prevent errors in essays. Not to mention, if you pass the AP test for this class three hours of college credit will be provided to you.

    Course highlights:

This course was fun for me because of all the different books and poems we were able to read and enjoy like Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice," or George Orwell's "1984," or Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales." Also my writing skills are ten times better than they used to be and I'm happy about that because now I can write magical essays and story's that most can't.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute to do anything for this class because timing is everything. If you have to do independent reading at home then take notes on every chapter you read because you will have a test on that book or if there's something you are unsure of that happened in the story go back and reread it. Practice deciphering essays at home to get better at it and study for more than one night for a test coming up.
