Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it opens your eyes to a different world of thinking. It allows you to question reality, and authority in an educated way, and you're exposed to different mind sets.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were reading short stories and thinking about what their deeper meaning was, as well as discussions controversial topics with my class and heading out everyons views.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into this course with an open mind. It's not your regular English class.

I learned about the history of different cultures all over the world including what is going on the news and how it is impacting their cultures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be prepared to do work outside of school and be prepared for public speaking, and always turn in the easy assignments because every point counts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is always interesting and engaging with examples from the news.

    Course highlights:

Examples from the news connecting to the lesson with lessons about Greece, the Middle East, and England that I still remember because it is so interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of work involved and you can't be afraid of public speaking. These skills will strengthen over time, but there is extra work from other classes. Even though there are some things to do after class, I would take it again any day.
