    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class really does expand a person's knowledge beyond the common knowledge of excel. It seems slow in the beginning because many people know how to do the basics, but it really would help a beginner in technology and especially in excel.

    Course highlights:

Through this course, we learned about basic and more complex tasks regarding excel. We learned how to make tables, charts, put in data, make things visually pleasing, use tables to sort through data, show data trends, use data to predict things, layout of paging, use of information tab in office applications

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you should: follow the teacher while she is doing it, save the pre and post draft as two files, remember to do the final assignment parts, vocabulary is very important.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the skills I gained about Microsoft Excel are very useful to me in my everyday life. On the other hand, the material was often difficult and the teacher wasn't always the best communicator and didn't listen to your feedback.

    Course highlights:

I gained skills on Microsft Excel and learned things that I didn't even know were possible on the program. These skill I have gained have been very useful to me in developing reports and making charts and graphs easier to read and more visually appealing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests given in this course were very difficult. I would definitely suggest reading the chapters before the test and studying the vocabulary for each chapter. I would also recommend doing the homework assignments more than once to really understand all the terms and methods before the tests.
