Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
He explains well and shows the every work clearly for even a few students. If schedule table says the class is 10:50~12:30, he always finish the class in 12:30. In his class, finishing the lecture before time will never happen.
Course highlights:
I used to solve the math without writing many equations or the other stuff. However, at the first test, I lost lots of points because I did not clearly explain how I got the answer and learn he really focuses on "how"
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
It is the best course I guess to review the math before you challenge in Calculus or other. He focuses on "how" and "why" not just answer.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
If you're good at college algebra then she is a good teacher.
Course highlights:
I increased my academic skills in math. The highlights were getting all A's on the tests I took.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Do practice problems after each class when you be home to get a refresher in your head.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
The teacher is great! I hate math but she makes it so simple and understandable. Don't get me wrong, college algebra can be challenging, but she makes it less challenging.
Course highlights:
I learned a lot. From inverse functions to a little bit of trigonometry. You are going to be taught at least five different math concepts. But the teacher makes it very understandable!
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
If you are bad at math (like me), then this course is going to be challenging. In the end, you are going to have to take college algebra. Maybe not now, but in the future. It is one of the simplest maths, compared to trigonometry and calculus. I advise you to put in time, especially if you struggle. You are going to have to practice and study for at least two hours. Do not slack off because you will fall behind. If you put in the time, you will reap the reward of a passing grade.
