Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you learn about how your body operates the way it does, your genetic make-up (reason why your hair is curly or straight), you learn about your specific blood type among others. You would be fascinated once you start studying this course because this is also an open door to many medical professions if your career is focused on this area.

    Course highlights:

I learnt about the basic building blocks of my body (cells, tissues, organs, systems, organism). I also learnt that I am O- which means that I am a universal donor that I can donate blood to all blood types which is good for emergency situations. Also, I enjoyed how the mitochondria uses sugar to continue the processes while we are sleeping. Fun stuff!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book as often as you can, take notes in class, don't be afraid to ask your professor questions if you're not understanding a specific topic, make use of the mastering (online program), and do your absolute best!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He was a great teacher, his lectures could be a tad boring but overall he was truly devoted to aiding the students in any way possible. Answered questions over email quickly! My biggest advice would be to make sure to do the quizzes on time, he does not tolerate late quizzes.

    Course highlights:

The labs were fun, you had the opportunity to do choose your lab partner and if you had any questions about the labs he was willing to help.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to turn everything in on time. Study his power point religiously and do all the homework and you'll ace all the quizzes/exams
