    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I've taken this class multiple times and it continues to teach me more and more about life and myself each time. If you don't like people and don't like to plan, then this isn't for you. It's extremely difficult, but so worth the time and effort. You're allowed creative control while also given guidance towards the goal that you're trying to reach with your fellow group mates. You can really throw yourself into this class, because you create an event based off of what you're most passionate about. Out of all the classes available at Mason High School, you learn the most in this one. You can take it as many times as you want to, and the teacher really supports that 100%. You really get to see your hard work pay off, and there's honestly nothing more rewarding than that.

    Course highlights:

In this course, you plan an event and host it. You must learn many life skills in order to be able to complete this task successfully- it's challenging, rewarding, and gives you real life experiences. You learn organization, people skills, time management, how to plan, and so much more. This class completely threw me out of my comfort zone and I needed that more than anything. As a freshman, I was a shy, quiet girl with awful anxiety. However, once I took this class, I was forced into making myself uncomfortable and get over my anxiety and shyness in order to complete my event. I can honestly say that this course changed me as a person.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up on it. You're going to get super frustrated and mad at your friends and you're going to feel lost at times. But with patience and understanding, you'll get through it. It's going to be hard. But it's so so rewarding. Absolutely incredible, i promise.. Take this course. You'll learn so much about yourself, others, and the world around you. It was the best class I've taken throughout my high school career.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because you learn so many valuable things. Most of the class is based around facilitating the planning of events but you gain so much more; problem solving skills, people skills, the ability to talk in front of crowds, and facilitation abilities. Also it is just a fun class in general.

    Course highlights:

In this class you plan an event. The highlight is definitely seeing everything come together. An event is such a big thing and to see it happen and know that you created it is really fulfilling.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work. Although this may seem like a blow off class it id far from it.
