    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because it obviously is needed to graduate, but also it really helped me learn how to structure my paper and use the best grammar and vocabulary possible in order to write as best as I could.

    Course highlights:

I liked Beowulf because it really interested me with the old world story and the supernatural that was a huge part of the plot.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and pay attention in class and everything should come to you very easily. The stories you read and write about are interesting so it makes it easier to engage.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As this is a required course, it is pretty important to pass. The teacher, Mr. Solis is a funny guy who explains the dilemmas within literature fairly well. The several books that we read elaborate on controversial issues that reveal several "lightbulbs" regarding said issues.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of insight as to how college English would go, and it came as somewhat of a shock. There are multiple challenging papers ranging from five to seven paragraphs that truly reveal what next level English would be like. It is certainly a good preparatory course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. Teachers always seem to say this but it is truly a necessity for this class. You will not be able to get a good grade on a seven paragraph paper if you write it the day before. I began my essay nine days in advance, two days to prep and writing one, high quality paragraph a night.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The speeches are the worst thing but other than that it's a fun class.

    Course highlights:

I personally think the highlights are the group reading we do.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them not to get behind on reading and practice there speeches.
