    Course Overview:

    The speeches are the worst thing but other than that it's a fun class.

    Course highlights:

    I personally think the highlights are the group reading we do.

    I would tell them not to get behind on reading and practice there speeches.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is a core course that is interesting to all and has many applications. While the grading is certainly difficult, one will learn a lot about themselves and what colleges expect from their incoming freshmen.

    Course highlights:

    Highlights of this course include the movie days, where students analyze films of cultural significance and 30 second speeches, where students give impromptu presentations on any randomly assigned topic.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Time management is crucial to this course, and asking questions in times of confusion will definitely help the learning process, as well as limiting stress. Being prepared will lead to success!
