    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Everyone is like family in the shop at the vocational school. We go on many field trips relating to our academics, gaining fun hands one experience. We also get lots of certifications and licenses in the shop.

    Course highlights:

Geology, Wastewater, Drinking Water, ecology, animals, aquaculture, OSHA (10 hr & 40 Hr), CPR, leadership skills, teamwork skills, etc.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Always listen and pay attention. Though the class can be pretty tough, it's really fun sometimes and the teachers make it a special place.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it as it lets you connect with the world around you. You can learn that even the smallest of things, such as somebody throwing a soda can into a field can pollute the entire field at once given enough time!

    Course highlights:

The high lights were definitely the variety of work you got o do. From study plants and animals in ecology, to leaning about how all waste/drinking water is treated and even studying OSHA to get certified coming from high school which is abnormal to say the least. Also getting to see so many cool places like Deer Island, reservations, drinking water plants, an earthquake center etc all show how vast the world really is.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work but to also have fun in what you do.,It can be quite of bit of work sometimes bu the teachers will be more than happy to help you if you don't understand something. The main thing I can say is just relax, it's not hard, only if you make it difficult by not listening or just slacking off in general.
