    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class not only for those who want to pursue scientific field but also to all students that have different interest. This class has many advantages that provide a high school student. If you’re an advanced student aiming for top colleges or a student who wants to save on tuition by getting college credit in high school, I would highly recommend you taking Advanced Placement classes. You can also save a lot of money and make your transcript pretty impressive with taking AP classes. This class challenges you and prepare you for college.

    Course highlights:

This class mainly focuses on evolution. It made me view evolution from a different perspective.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest you read the book and notes every single day. Ask the teacher questions if anything is unclear. There is also numerous website that can help you with this class besides the teacher such as khan academy and study.com.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The reason, I have strong feeling either way with this recommendation, is because, if you really want to pursue a career in the medical field, I would say yes because, this class will really prepare you and go in depth on epidemiology, PCR, DNA and many of the fundamentals you will need to succeed in the field. However, if you are not as passionate and willing to put in the work, which really goes for every other class, I would say no, because this class requires 110% of your effort and has probably been one of my hardest classes this semester.

    Course highlights:

-The projects are fun, if you do them right -We always have holiday parties -There will be a legendary vaccine debate every year with this class -the knowledge you take away is rewarding

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    - Make sure you do every assignment when it is due -If an assignment is due two days away, writ it is due the next day on your paper to avoid getting it done late. -Create a study group with the smart kids, because you will succeed when you study with the right people -The teacher offers re-teachings, so if you don't understand something make sure to go in for as many as you can -Take good notes, if you don't know how talk to your teacher or watch a YouTube video on it -Always ask questions, don't be shy, that's the only way you have the potential to grasping the material better -study more than what is required
