Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The class is fairly easy, but many teachers have different styles of teaching the course, therefore some may not fit your style of learning and can drastically affect the way you grasp the material.
Course highlights:
I learned many things throughout the school year, but one in particular that stood out was "Radical Equations and Functions". I still don't think I fully understand it.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Math is a tricky subject, to begin with, remain calm and let time allow you to understand and fully grasp the material. Take advantage of the resources around you, whether its Khan Academy or Youtube or even your friends, don't be shy to ask for help.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course because it helps algebra skills and is very intellectually stimulating. The only thing about this course that was bad was the way the professor taught it. He gave us unfamiliar work that we had absolutely no idea how to do, and he expected us to know it.
Course highlights:
They highlights of this course was probably the contents and the topics that we learned.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Always ask questions when you don't understand.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I learned a lot, and very quickly! Ms. Petulante got through all the material quickly and efficiently, and we always had a little bit of extra time at the end of class.
Course highlights:
Mostly, I learned the basics of algebra. I learned all about functions and how to transform them. Besides that, Algebra 2 had fun projects, such as deriving the quadratic formula.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure you understand everything in Algebra two because math is a stair of knowledge and you need a solid base.
