    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course definitely helps students become better writers and learn how to analyze pieces of text. It emphasizes succinct and meaningful writing.

    Course highlights:

    I enjoyed reading many book and analyzing them individually and with respect to other books we read.

    Make sure you read and analyze the text while you read.

    It is very intriguing and forces you to develop your writing and interpretive skills as a literary person

    I learned about how to efficiently write and especially how to write a thesis, a skill that is essential for college

    A truly transformative class that not only helps to shape your lexicon and understanding of grammatical principles, but also your ability to comprehend and analyze literature.

    How to actually write essays and how to analyze literature, pulling out motifs to write about.

    You HAVE to stay on top of the course load and not procrastinate. If it gets away from you, it will become overwhelming.
