    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher I have makes this course very entertaining everyday, even though it gets tough at some points. He uses humour to capture our interest and get us involved.

    Course highlights:

I learned a a lot about understanding and analysis specific texts and it has helped me expand on my own essay writing a lot. Choosing a book of your own and being able to write about something you are actually interested in at the end of the year was a special highlight for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not leave essays to the last minute! Work hard on them throughout the entire time given and your grade will much improve. Work on it bit by bit, paragraph by paragraph, so youre not so stressed at Sunday night.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

so much great reading-- though we still have in class essays, so be wary of that.

    Course highlights:

i've learned that apparently an essay can be "poetic." my teacher explained this to me, but i don't have the talent yet to write a beautifully wordy essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

you need to love reading!!! read a lot of classics, as it'll help you with open ended essays.
