    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helped me develop many new skills that I will use in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned about poetry, books and how to write essays with a strong point of view and opinion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open minded and confident. Never give up and keep an open mind to learn new things.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking AP english your senior year. While the work load is heavy, and the content can be challenging, it is worth it for the knowledge that you gain. I have already learned so much from this class that I know I will actually be able to use in the future.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are definitely the essays for me which sounds a little strange but english is my favorite subject. I enjoy how personal the essays get to be in this class. You have the opportunity to write about yourself a lot. I do not personally like the amount of annotations that come with the course however. Every piece that we read must be returned marked to oblivion which I do not enjoy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that the best advice for this class is to meet deadlines. Even if your essay isn't completely perfect, taking 20 points off for a late grade is worse than a few points off for grammar. I would also suggest going in for help. All of Churchill's english teachers seem to be open for editing. If you take a essay to them, whether it be for a grade or an application, they will take the time to sit with you and edit through your paper.
