Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students because I have learned who I am as a student. I learned many techniques throughout the course to help me thrive in this AP course.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights was getting to read Shakespeare plays. Something I have learned is how to understand the plays from a deeper level which is a very useful learning tool.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not hesitate to ask for help. I know that AP classes may seem intimidating, but this class is certainly not a class that you should go through alone.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Corey is very engaging. She works hard to include more interesting books into the curriculum. In class, we have at least one seminar every week. Even though Ms. Corey can be very intimidating at first, she really cares about her students and she will help you if you are struggling.

    Course highlights:

Everyone in the class had to do a poster journal which was basically a book or poem in visual form. It was a really fun project because it was totally centered on creativity. Towards the end of the semester, we read A Tale of Two Cities. I enjoyed the book because of the emotion and history combined in it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the homework and don't be afraid to over-annotate. Also, speak up in class. If you don't participate, your grade will be lower. Plus, Ms. Corey really listens to what you say, so you won't feel awkward about it even if it's wrong.
