Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is an easy college credit. You do the same stuff a regular senior English class would do except you got a college credit.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were getting to read some of my favorite books. We got to read Beowulf and I have personally always wanted to read it. I watched the movie when I was little with my dad and now I finally got to read and discuss the book.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering this course is to READ the books. Do not just skim through and think you have a good understanding of whats going on because I promise you, you won't.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it prepares students for the rigorous demands of collegiate education. Mrs. Thompson is a dedicated and motivating teacher. Her method of teaching helps students excel. She sets high standards of achievement for her students and teaches us how to reach them.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was the British Literature unit. I learned how to be a patient reader and developed my comprehension skills while doing so.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write and write well. Be prepared to spend time reading and researching.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gave me my first insight into college reading and writing. English 1010 was my first dual enrollment class and it gave me that little extra push to make my writing more college ready.

    Course highlights:

Many projects stand out in my mind however my favorite one was when the whole class wrote short stories. We were finishing up Romantics and we all had ten page stories which we got to read aloud to our class. It was a time when we each got to hear each person's voice and how they wrote.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and do not procrastinate.
