Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course not only got me a foot in college it helped a lot with the end of course test. I was so used to writing a paper on the writing part of the test it took me no time to organize and write my essay. Only because I had so much practice writing in her class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of skills from this class from studying to testing. She thought us this format for writing with textual evidence tht I never learned before. It was so much easier to write a essay using it. I'll never forget it. She thought us a lot of ELA rules tht I didn't know existed and it helped tht we practiced each one at the beginning of class everyday for a week.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you work hard and focus you will definitely do good in this class. Her main thing was work effort and integrity. Don't try to cheat because that's one of the few things that will put u on her bad side. She's very nice so don't be disrespectful and do ur work because she'll give u credit for Wat u do. Not jus give u busy work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is an easy college credit. You do the same stuff a regular senior English class would do except you got a college credit.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were getting to read some of my favorite books. We got to read Beowulf and I have personally always wanted to read it. I watched the movie when I was little with my dad and now I finally got to read and discuss the book.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering this course is to READ the books. Do not just skim through and think you have a good understanding of whats going on because I promise you, you won't.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it prepares students for the rigorous demands of collegiate education. Mrs. Thompson is a dedicated and motivating teacher. Her method of teaching helps students excel. She sets high standards of achievement for her students and teaches us how to reach them.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was the British Literature unit. I learned how to be a patient reader and developed my comprehension skills while doing so.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write and write well. Be prepared to spend time reading and researching.
