Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Health is a requirement to graduate, however it has some of the most important information you would ever learn in high school. Understanding some of the four basic parts of everyday life, from healthy relationships to human reproduction, the course covers parts of your life you normally consider day to day, whereas perhaps in PreCalc you will only use the reciprocal of the cube root function in college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included learning more about myself than I had anticipated. The first unit on healthy relationships really helps to delve into more about who you are and how people treat you. It's highly effective at allowing you to take a new perspective on yourself instead of just accepting what you see at first glance. Another highlight is the multitude of different types of assignments. Some were online and geared toward independent research and others were group based. Both were incredibly useful ways of helping me and my classmates learn.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to haver your homework done. It's not just a grade, it's often used on tests as well as being overall useful information. Study for tests as usually there are not many, but they all are for one particular unit and they are incredibly valuable in the future. Take notes as often as you can, as the notes on the board will be what you get tested on so make sure they're neat as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course because it is an unfiltered and very necessary course that gets high schoolers more familiar with their bodies.

Highlights of this course was our group discussions. Everyone was always asking great questions and conversations were never dull as everyone contributed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and look over notes and objectives.
