Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Tabony is a gift to this course. He is an amazing teacher and is the most helpful with any questions one may have about the course.

    Course highlights:

The labs in the first semester are very fun. You learn all about bio from the cell all the way to about entire ecosystems. Dr. Tabony is one of the best teachers at Franklin and graduating without taking his class would be a travesty. His ninja skills are always on point. He rarely misses class which could seem like a bad thing since it is a double block but it is super helpful because he plans out the entire year so you can see how the class will go. The tests are curved a lot so that is also a plus.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you end up taking the course, make sure you study for the tests and just show up to class. If you show up to class you can't really go wrong. He lectures and you get supplements that are really helpful when it comes to the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is one of the most fascinating subjects out there. On top of that, Dr. Tabony is a wonderful teacher and his care for his students really shines through. His upbeat energy and love for the subject makes learning even microbiology fun!

    Course highlights:

AP Biology really solidified topics covered in Honors Biology that weren't easily understandable for me. It was a great way to expand on the information I had already learned and go even more in depth into topics I loved.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study! Pay attention in class and read the chapters. It'll help so much in the long run.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology with Dr. Tabony was the best course I've ever taken. We were constantly doing labs and experiments, as well as projects and other creative activities. Dr. Tabony is an excellent teacher and prepared us substantially for the AP exam in the spring.

    Course highlights:

The labs and dissections that we did were the highlights of the course. We listened to music while doing them and were really able to bond with the other people in our lab groups. I learned the most when doing a lab.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have the opportunity to take it with a teacher like Dr. Tabony, definitely do. It is so worth it.
