Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course will open one's eyes to the struggles of women all over the world of different races, sexuality, socioeconomic backgrounds, relationship statuses, etc. Simultaneously, this course also opens one's eyes to the many accomplishments women have achieved throughout history despite their constant erasure.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this course is the speakers that come in and share their testimonies about the ways they have achieved great things in their lives despite the obstacles set against them. The teacher, Ms. Reinhart is friends with many strong women and asks a lot of them to come in and give insight about their lives, careers, and the ways in which they've worked towards improving the lives of women in their communities.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The readings are important and eye-opening. Make sure to keep an open-mind. This is a course based heavily on discussion so patience, an open mind, and compassion are much needed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Gonzalez (also known as Baby Gonz) is a great teacher and will give you insightful perspectives in an innovative way while also preparing you for the AP exam. I had to work a bit more than average but it paid off because I got an A in the class and a 4 on the AP exam. Read the textbook, try to participate in class, and do your projects and term paper in enough time to where you can give it the amount of effort it needs.

    Course highlights:

I think it's best to think of world history not as a bunch of dates and events but like a story. I vividly remember Mr. Gonzalez actually acting out the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and now I can't forget that it was one of the causes of WWI. Think of history as a narrative. Also for the essays, when you have to analyze point of views and all, a good rule of thumb is explaining WHY SOMEONE SAID WHAT THEY SAID BECAUSE OF WHO THEY ARE.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this course if you don't wanna do the work or be engaged in class.
