    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a teacher, Mr. Gonzalez is more suited for AP US Gov than he was for World History. He has a problem teaching sophomores and his tests are not easy.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the paleolithic microblade and the Bantu peoples. Those were two of Mr. Gonzalez's favorite things to bring up. The millennium videos were also very interesting. John Green is your best friend, though.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read your textbook over and over again. Know your information because you never know when a wild pop quiz may occur. He is generally very chill as long as you can demonstrate that you have read the assigned pages before getting into class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I learned a lot about world history that I never knew before and really enjoyed it.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different cultures of the world and how countries turned out the be the way they are now. I loved the discussions on the material and the projects we got to do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you keep up with the homework load, you should be fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Mr. Gonzalez is very intuitive and in-touch with this history course. You can tell by the way he teachers that he actually enjoys the subject, which makes learning it much better.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about Chinese history. I hadn't known much about it since we didn't go over it much in other classes, so it was nice to finally get to learn and understand it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read your textbook and be prepared for class.
