    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Made me a better writer!! Learned a ton about writing conventions and writing strong essay. Also gave me a firmer grasp on non fiction literature.

    Course highlights:

I became much more comfortable in taking on dense nonfiction texts and analyzing poetry. We learned how to write persuasive, synthesis, and comparison essays effectively using claim, evidence, and warrant.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep a binder so everything stays together. Make sure you take thorough annotations and reread texts for a better understanding.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you want to cry your eyes out then take this course. On a more serious note, its a lot of work and it will be tough but if you study and don't procrastinate it'll make things easier.

    Course highlights:

Fondling the details is key! I learned how to analyze a passage and write a rhetorical analysis essay in a hour.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the binders! Omg those are basically free summative points for something simple. Claim evidence warrant. Include " fondle the details " in your journal conference third tri.
