Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was probably one of my favorite classes at Park Hill. You get to learn about the trends of people, which mixes into current events. Plus, Mrs. West makes it really fun.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about Human Geography, but I think the most important thing I learned was how to take an AP class. I don't think I would have been as successful in other courses if I had not taken this one first. I was able to learn time management for work-heavy classes, how to read a textbook and determine what is important, and how to study information that you will have to write an essay or FRQ for.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are eligible to take this class, take it. It will be really beneficial to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it give you a whole new base of knowledge about your everyday life. By the end of the course you will be able to look around and notice things you didn't before. I have taken so much from this class and know that I will definitely be using this information in future years.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course, for me, were learning about current events and societies in other countries. I learned how the social standards in America are very different than those in Syria for example. I learned every state, country, capital, and body of water on Earth. I believe that learning all this has given me a respect for other cultures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go for it! You learn so much and the knowledge you gain helps you in your everyday life especially when watching the news. This course does involve rigorous amounts of reading but in the end it is worth it because with the hekp of a good teacher, you retain that information well.
