During this course, I learned the different ways to code in matlab, from loops to GUIs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You do not need to know anything about coding when you enter this class, but make sure you read the text book because it will help with your understanding of the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course covers MATLAB, a programming software commonly used in the engineering industry for prototyping and development. Proficiency in MATLAB is a necessary skill and is used throughout an engineering career, both in college and the workplace.

    Course highlights:

We learned the basics of programming as can be applied to many programming languages in addition to MATLAB. We learned how to use this powerful software to solve complex equations, generate graphs (both 2D and 3D plots), and use computer logic to complete tasks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with your assignments. Working in groups significantly reduces time and stress: groups of 3-5 work best.
