    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in accounting, this is a great course for you. The course load is medium. There is usually a discussion board posting each week and a case study assignment. The textbook along with a little google research helps tremendously with the assignments. Assignments include some writing and some practical applications of accounting concepts. Overall, a great course to broaden your knowledge.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the practical application of accounting concepts. It was a nice change from writing papers every week as with some classes. We studied absorption costing and variable costing. We analyzed and classified the structure, content, and then assembled a cash /flexible budget. Definitely an interesting class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the course textbook for homework help. And have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel as you will need it to do a lot of the case study assignments.
