Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Liza is a great teacher. She is very understanding and is more than willing to help if you just ask. Her process of assignments is logical and will help with tasks later in the class.

    Course highlights:

We did a research paper, and the assignments leading up to the paper ultimately help one write it. The tasks are not hard if you just do the work. Also if it is an assignment that will be a majority of the class, please choose a topic that has your interest or else it will be difficult to do assignments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is as simple as do your homework. If you did not understand something within the course, make an attempt to meet with the teacher and ask for clarification.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a key English course for most Majors. Also, Dr. Ives is an Excellent Professor, She is easy to get in touch with and knows a lot about the subject. She also makes it relatively interesting which is very hard to do for Eglish classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned the rhetorical devices Ethos, Pathos, Logos, and Kronos. I also learned how to properly format an essay in MLA and learned a variety of techniques to review my essays.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students taking this course is to visit the writing center and the professor often to get them to look over your essays.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved Landis Groom as a professor. I learned a lot about formatting and how to site my sources. I used to be scared to have to papers read in front of the class and Dr. Landis Groom made me less insecure.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I learned about MLA format and how to write in my own way. We learned that each and every person has a certain way of writing or certain words they use a lot and being able to recognize that, is a very cool skill.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your reading. There are quizzes on the chapters you were supposed to read the night before. Also, you need to focus on citing your sources. You hardly ever cute sources at the end of a paper anymore, it is normally through out the paper.
