    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this class because this class is treated as a college course that requires you to be quick with your learning skills. So if you want a challenge in biology, take AP Biology because this course will really challenge you if you are up to it!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any student who I felt shows the work ethic to take it. I learned more about biology than I thought I would, and there is still much for me to learn. I also felt well prepare for the AP Biology exam in May, and proceeded to get a 4 on it.

    Course highlights:

Taking AP Bio helped me establish structure in my life. A recurring lesson within biology is that structure and function go hand in hand. Without the proper structure, the proper function cannot exist. Because I had no structure, I was not functioning properly as a student. I learned about evolution, metabolism, immunity, and genetics during this course, but nothing could top the 'structure equals function' maxim.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Going to class is essential. Try to be there every single day on time. Writing is essential to your success both in the class and on the AP exam. Do not take it lightly. If you are like how I used to be, studying is a foreign concept to you. Learn how to take notes that help you. Go over them. Have a friend quiz you on concepts. You are in charge of your own success.
