    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is challenging and will help to prepare you for college. This course also introduces you to hard work, and makes you really work in order to maintain a good grade.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the experience I gained in a new type of math, despite its challenges. This course taught me how to apply the math we learned to real life by often having real world problems to answer. I learned how to use trigonometry to measure extensive lengths and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you familiarize yourself with pre-calculus principles and also get acquainted with algebra again. If you plan on taking this course be sure you are ready to study and put forth your best effort in order to succeed, because the concepts aren't always easy to understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it's worth a try. Even though calculus may seem challenging at first, the more you do it and study, the more you get it and the more it seems easy. With every level of math, you improve your abstract thinking and problem solving. In calculus, you'll solve problems somewhat differently and you'll look at things in a different perspective. Ms. Starobin, Ms. Star for short, is a good teacher. She's able to explain things thoroughly while still managing to teach something in a limited time. If you study and pay attention in class, you should be able to pass the ap test and get the college credit.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things in calculus. The major things I learned were derivatives. limits, and integrals. Nearly every problem in calculus incorporated derivatives, limits, and integrals.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give students considering this course is make sure to study after you learn something new, complete your homework and don't rush through it, make sure you have an understanding on what you're doing, and pay attention in class.
