Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Dash's class, for me at least, has helped me to get out of my mindset that every English has the same format as the previous class you have already taken and forced me to exceed my expectations on myself

    Course highlights:

Even though class is still going on, it helped me see the purpose of reading ahead in the class, to grasp the concept of the poem or story, so I don't end up confused in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a study group, it is good to have various opinions about the story to piggyback off of and discuss different meanings you have gotten from the story.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It interesting to read Old English and other books that go into detail about culture and traditions that play a role in the modern world.

    Course highlights:

I am still taking the course but so far, my personal highlight is being able to decipher the text and read in a different perspective, from the characters to other meanings not earlier thought of.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read ahead of time to make sure you have a form grip on the subject of the book and to know that there isn't other meaning or clue about the objective of the story that you could've missed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're big on reading and analyzing literature this is definitely a class you should take. Plus you get a college credit if you pass the AP Exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do things on my own. With it being a "college" class you have to be able to take the time to research things outside of the class and prioritize.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate and make sure that you are on top of all of your work. Take responsibility for your life inside and outside of the classroom because the two impact each other tremendously.
