    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I feel it will greatly assist students in preparing for college level learning. Similar to college, there is little to no homework or extra credit assignments and students are held to a high standard of learning.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course has been the internship opportunities it has provided. Due to my research topics, I have been fortunate enough to gain professional laboratory experience with the United States Department of Agriculture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to thoroughly look into research topics that truly interest and excite them during the summer before the class begins. This will ensure that your experience taking the course will be much more enriching and enjoyable.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is a requirement for Biology majors in the Science and Technology program. It is not easy but it is not hard either. The class can be stressful towards deadlines but if you do all the work you should be fine. If you do not have a mentor for some reason it will be extremely hard to conduct your research and do your project.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are that it is an independent class so technically you can use the time however you like and the Symposium at the end of the year is a fun event to attend once you finish your project.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not willing to do the work on time you should change your major and have Mr. Sims as your RP teacher. If you are not going to do the work at all and you want to relax your senior it may be best to just drop out of Science and Technology.
