Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because not only does it teach you chemistry, but because it is Advanced Placement, it allows you to pick up on habits like learning how to take notes or study independently. Overall, it was good for learning skills I would need in college.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights included pop quizzes on information I knew that I should have studied. It made me more responsible with my work and keeping track of things I needed to do to achieve my goals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give us to always study. Even when you think you don't need to, because you never know when things will come to test your knowledge and you always want to come up on top of those things.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking this course teaches a student a lot about different processes that are happening around such as how ammonia is produced or how ozone is transformed to oxygen. There are also labs which helps us apply what we have learned in class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the reviews and labs. If we are having trouble with the previous lesson, Mr. Keck makes sure that we fully understand it before moving to the next step. The labs shows us the applications of what we have learned making us fully grasp the concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the work that is given because it helps you understand more about the lesson. Do not procrastinate and make excuse. Read the book and take notes. If you do not understand the text read it again. Make sure to organize your binder or notebook because he gets most of the quizzes and tests from there. Never be afraid to ask questions about things that you are having trouble with. Lastly, study.

AP Chemistry is a difficult subject, but it is enjoyable once you understand it.

    Course highlights:

I learned about thermochemistry and the nomenclature of substances. I also learn organic chemistry, which is quite difficult.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you must take good notes. You will need to be organized because there is a lot of details to keep in mind.
