    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it was my first advanced placement course and so it really allowed me to challenge myself and experience what a college course would be like along with the amount of work you would typically get.

    Course highlights:

At the end of US History, I learned significant events throughout US history along with (memorizing) the presidents order, date in office, and political party. I also learned and memorized all the countries in the world which helped with my knowledge when we interacted with them during US history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course I would be ready to put a lot of effort into it. Memorization is a big factor because you have to learn a lot in a short amount of time (if you are taking the AP test in the spring). I made the mistake of procrastinating at the beginning of the course but that didn't end up well. So, stay on track, get your work done on time and it will benefit you in the long run!
