    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was repetitive; didn't feel that I learned skills that will be used in the future. Did observe an increase in ability to complete tasks required by course, but not a reason to use learned items outside of class.

    Course highlights:

Learned how to effectively evaluate the purpose of a literary work, especially in relation to the theme and tone of the work. Refreshed knowledge of literary devices. Read many classic works of literature, enjoyed the widened range of authors and time eras of books read.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read books assigned. Find a way to motivate yourself to work hard and succeed in the class. If attempting to decide between Lit and Lang, Lang involves more real life application, while Lit is more of a literature appreciation course.
