    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Kowalke is the best teacher I've ever had, and she truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. The class is rigorous, but functions like a real college course - it teaches not only proper use of language but also responsibility and timeliness.

    Course highlights:

As a person who absolutely loves English, this class was the perfect place for me. It involves writing an essay about once a week, and provides ample opportunities to grow in writing and analysis. The class prepares you extremely well for the AP test, and your writing (argumentative and stylistic) will drastically improve.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read outside of class - reading is the best way to become a better writer! Make use of the College Board website for practice tests and essays.
