    Course Overview:

    I would really recommend this course it gets you prepared and ready for college and you get to experience a lot more things than an average high school student would

    Course highlights:

    I've learned a lot in this course from how to manage money for college to just an everyday life after college, I definitely have gained a lot more knowledge about college and life being in this course

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Cornell notes not only because we get them checked but they really do help, and just asking questions about anything that you may need help with they're there for you whenever you need them .

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend Avid to all students of color. Its a helpful class for students because it prepares students for colleges, and helps them engage in higher level thinking.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course would be all of the college tours we do. All the college visits help you get an idea of what you want when you go to college, so just looking at colleges really help.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be ready for high level thinking and be prepared to learn every day.

    Course Overview:

    I suggest taking the AVID course because it helps you prepare for college and helps you build those relationships with other students, faculty, and professionals in their fields to prepare for college.

    Course highlights:

    I remember going to Pohlad Company in Minneapolis and we did a job shadowing and I learned that working in a big company was something I wanted to do for my life because I always try to go to the top in everything that I do. I learned that building relationships with other people is very important.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Consider your future always being the main goal because its a life need. AVID is a very helpful class to take to help you prepare and get you thinking for your future.
