Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In this course I learned sooooo much about American History and Mr. Herring teaches it to you at a nice pace. It helps you sooo much in the future with understanding the nation's history.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the 1800s-1850s, pre-civil war stuff. I feel like this section, people don't know that much about and is left out of history textbooks and it was really interesting to learn about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All you have to do is study the study guides for test really well and you'll be able to get an A. The time put into studying might be a problem

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Most high school sophomores take this course as their first Advanced Placement class. This course is a great introduction to the rigor that AP brings to a student's schedule. It's a bit easier than AP European History, but still difficult enough to prepare for that next step.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the Vietnam war era the most during the course. The political complexities within our government during that time are fascinating. You'll get into great detail on that subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just keep up with the reading. If you get behind in your reading in any AP class, especially a history or social studies class, you won't have a fun time.
