    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because I believe it portrays itself as interesting to all people. This class teaches various cultures; how and why different people do different things. And as a plus, the class provides most students with a newfound appreciation and respect for other cultures.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course taught me the many different ways religion, family, diet, gender roles, etc. work in other cultures. As Americans, we sometimes become so involved in our way of life. Taking Culture and Society allows you to take a step back from our everyday culture, appreciate and learn alternative ways of living life. It changes the way you see yourself, your life, and your future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the chapters and read over the power point presentations given in class. Every bit of information is available online, and I highly recommend you make yourself familiar with all information given to you, especially before the test. Key terms are important to know, and when writing papers, you should cite many sources; not just one or two. Overall, if you pay attention and make sure you know and understand the material, you can easily pass the class; and hopefully learn something as well.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Martinez is highly qualified for her position and makes the class extremely interesting. She will tell stories of her ventures into other countries as an anthropologist and it is so intriguing.

    Course highlights:

I learned that Anthropology is much more than just a study of people. It is a science and can help humanity in many areas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to all lectures given and read the textbook.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It opens you mind and you will learn about things you never thought of or imagined.

    Course highlights:

The professor was easy going and she placed all of her lectures online. I learn that you need to always take notes and revisit the lectures before exam time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Never procrastinate, always come to class prepared, pay attention in class and don't get too far behind with your work.
