Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This was absolutely my favorite class of my four years at FAU. Not only is Lindsey an incredible professor she helped me become the woman I am today and I still keep in touch with her. She is an advocate for all women and is definitely the course to take if you need to open up your mind to realities of the world.
The highlights of this course was the discourse. We were able to discuss real life events including dissecting 50 Shades of Grey, gay marriage, equal rights, and took a dive into historical events that have shaped today. I have become far more cognizant of the oppression women continue to face in our society including our over sexualization in the media and also read Hunger Games together and fell in love with strong female roles in literature.

Advice for students:
I would recommend students to keep an open mind with this course and if not it will definitely open their eyes to some harsh realities. Do the reading, participate, and get involved. It is really worth it.
