Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course pushes you to the limit in that it is not a memorizable course, but one where you truly have to understand the material. Not only does it push you to study hard, but the information is very intriguing and it helps open your eyes to how the world works. The Professor is great and is always there for office hours if you ever need any help and provides you with plenty of resources to do well in the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this lab was dissecting the animals and seeing how intricate and complex each organism is. From a Platyhelminth(aka a flatworm) to Chondrichthyes(aka cartilaginous fish such as sharks etc.), you really understand and grasp that we aren't too different from the animals we see on television or the animals on our dinner table.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do what he says in the email, if he tells you to print something out, do it because if you print it out or read an article he sends you he will give out extra credit to the individuals that do what he tells them to. Finally, read ahead, he loves to ask questions and give points out to students who know what they are going to go over in class before they walk in.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Of course it is required, but succeeding in the classroom solely depends on you. These courses have a lot to do with memorization. Be attentive. Professors are clear and specific with the classroom, their rules, and how they teach this course.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed when we were learning about the class fungi. My favorite was the Ascomycota. There are species which can control organisms and make them 'zombie-like'. This occurs in insects, mostly ants. It can even wipe out colonies !

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, and memorize. Having a deep understanding will aid in memorization.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is an intense course. Prepare to study as if it were a 4 credit class.

    Course highlights:

It definitely whipped my studying habits into shape!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take too many credits with this course. It's the hardest 1 credits you'll ever take.
