    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course as a great, hands on way, to learn about biology!

    Course highlights:

The highlights would be having hands on experience in the lab which allowed me to visibly see what we were talking about in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, make sure you pay attention in lecture and try to prepare for the lab before you come to class so you know what you will be doing that day.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend that you study the pictures on the powerpoints since they are very likely to come up on the practical. also make sure that you look at the dissection pictures on the BlueLab program since the actual dissection will not be as clear as the hand drawn pictures in the lab notebook.

    Course highlights:

The dissections are the highlight of the course because they are very interactive. I learned that there are different exteriors for worms but most of them will have the same internal organs.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you always read your lab notebook instructions before going to class. That way you won't get lost during the overview prior to the start of lab.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course with William Brooks because he not only makes sure that you know the material with daily i-clicker quizzes, but he prepares you for the MCAT by testing your knowledge of all the material covered in lecture which helps you in the long run.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was that with the daily studying that was crucial to being successful in the course I remember the material that was taught long after I took the course and he made the class interesting with his comical personality.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it because you will need it as a Biology major and the material taught is very interesting and useful to know.
