    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because if you strive to be a computer programmer then this is the first course you should take. You learn the basics of language C from pointers to strings.

    Course highlights:

This course focused on programming using functions and control structures. In this course , you will be able to learn how to create definition, and use pointer and arrays. You will also learn the basic concepts on the language C.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to immediately get a compiler and to listen to the professor and write down everything he/she says. Also, buy a intro to language C book to be ahead of the game.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Firstly, this course is mandatory an important for every newly started programmer. They can learn from the basic of the programming section. Second, Professor Sorgente is very knowledgeable in this subject. She will definitely teach well those who want to learn the basic knowledge of C or advance their skills further.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course focus on how to program from the most simple program to most advanced program of C within a short amount of time. Therefore, students really need to pay attention as the course go fast so they wont behind. Until now, I have learned so many things about the basic functions of a program and how to it work properly. Not every time I start programming is an easy time, so I have a chance to discuss with Profressor Sorgente and advance my skill.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The course is going very fast and it does have a lot of work to do. Students should focus at least 6 hours a week on this course to make sure they aren't behind and have enough time to seek for tutor and help. Also, even though it contains the most fundamental knowledge of C, every single thing students learn from this course is worth taking note so it can be used again in higher level classes.
