    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a lot of hard dedicated work. I cant sugar coat that but as long as you put in the time and commitment you'll do just fine. The material is not hard to understand its the amount of information that you have to know that may get you at times.

    Course highlights:

On the bright side of this course you learn so many complex process and ideas that you may have wondered your whole school career (at least I did) and you have so many moments of "ohh thats how that works". If you can pass this course with a B or an A it'll give you a great feeling of accomplishment. Organic chemistry is literally everywhere.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE BOOK. Nothing will give you more of an understanding than the Organic Chemistry books themselves. Try not to go off too much on other sites or youtube because you will get side tracked. Keep it plain and simple.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is required for a BS in biology and graduate programs.

    Course highlights:

I learned about structures and bonding, acid-base chemistry, resonance, and stereochemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend all tutor sessions, SI study groups, and form groups within the class to help study.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because not only it is a requirement for medical/optometry/dental school, but is is also very interesting. You get to learn a lot in it.

    Course highlights:

You will learn about organic molecules and the basis of their xomposition. It is super important to know this. The professor is great but you do need to put in a lot of time studying for it regardless.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Dont be afraid of asking for help! You can always get ACE, a private tutor that will help you and teach step by step the reactions. Dont forget to pay attention in classs :)
